THE ATELIER

Where an idea becomes something real.

The Atelier is a place of beginnings — samples, materials, adjustments and the refinement of an idea until it becomes something worth keeping. At Westucci, we believe the process deserves to be seen.

From the first pencil line to the final detail, the Heritage Box was created to make an entrance feel like an occasion.

The Heritage Box began with a simple idea: to give every Westucci creation an arrival worthy of the House. It was drawn with classical proportion in mind—elegant and composed. The structure was gradually refined, with the Westucci crest taking its place at the centre, like a seal upon a private invitation. And then, the reveal. As the lid opens, a single inscription appears:

WELCOME TO THE HOUSE OF WESTUCCI

A small ceremony. A sense of anticipation. A first introduction to the world within.

From the first line on paper to the first object in hand.

The W Buckle turned to three quarters, showing the depth of the casting and the softly rounded edges of the brushed gold

It began with a simple question: how could I turn the W of Westucci into something you could hold? I drew it, changed it, questioned it and began again. What looked right on paper didn’t always feel right as an object.

Then, one day, the drawing became real. I held the first W Buckle in my hand. It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t supposed to be. Every mark, proportion and detail showed me what needed to come next.

These photographs capture that moment honestly — not a finished product, but the beginning of a Westucci signature.

From the first line on paper to the first object in hand.

I wanted this buckle to become more than something printed on a page. I wanted to hold it in my hand. Turning a handwritten signature into a physical object was not as simple as I imagined. Every curve mattered, change too much, and it stopped feeling like Westucci.

Then the first sample arrived. For the first time, I could touch the name I’d written so many times. It had weight, imperfections and suddenly, an idea that existed only in my mind was real. It will continue to evolve, but I will always remember the first Westucci Signature Buckle I could hold.
